There are lots of lovely sandy beaches, good shopping centres, great local markets and a fantastic variety of bars, restaurants and nightclubs within the area.
One of the most popular areas of Orihuela Costa is The Villamartin Plaza where there are more than 30 bars and restaurant's with cuisine from all over the world, Spanish, French, German, Indian, Chinese, Italian and Mexican the list goes on & on! A variety of entertainment is provided in the Plaza Square during the evenings.
Supermarket's, Bank's and an International Pharmacy are also situated within the Plaza complex.
Just 5 minutes walk away is the Villamartin Golf course with 18 holes and fantastic Clubhouse Bar and Restaurant. There are also two further 18 Hole Golf courses within 10 minutes drive away, perfect for the dedicated golfer!.
Also a short drive away are the lovely sandy beaches of La Zenia, Cabo Roig and Campoamar, perfect for some serious sunbathing or if you are feeling energetic there are various water sports such as surfing, sailing and water-skiing.
Torrevieja is 15 minutes drive away and well worth a trip, the town has bags of character with bustling street markets, beautiful beaches, picturesque plaza's and lots of different things to do, boating & fishing trips can be booked from the Marina.
For the children there are two Aquaparks at Torrevieja and Quesada which both provide loads of fun for all the family.
